“Over the past several years, we have been increasingly providing support to our clients in the USA and Mexico; founding a subsidiary there was a logical step,” stated Wilhelm Goschy, COO of Staufen AG. “We have a presence in Europa, Asia and South America; Staufen Americas now gives us a presence on the fourth continent.” The Executive Director of Staufen.Americas is Arturo Medellin, whose business experience also includes working in North and South America for several years with lean management pioneer, Jeffrey Liker. In addition to a strong focus on internationalizing the Staufen AG business, digitization projects continue to increasingly contribute to the annual revenue, currently at approximately 52 million Euros. Staufen’s activities in this area remain consistent; as of January 1, 2017, with the founding of Digital Neonex, Staufen has its own specialist when it comes to the fields of digital transformation, data science and smart factories. “Digital Neonex is not a laboratory for digital experiments; it works hands on with experienced implementation consultants,” according to Staufen CEO, Martin Haas. Thomas Rohrbach is the General Manager of Digital Neonex. He has been developing Staufen AG’s international business and new business models for more than ten years. Growth in the core business and investments in prospective business areas have increased the number of employees to more than 250 within a year – a climb of almost 15 percent. With respect to corporate successes, Martin Haas was pleased to affirm that, “The fact that Staufen AG received two prestigious awards last year shows how highly motivated our team is.” In 2016, Staufen Consulting was voted “Best Consultant” by Brand eins Wissen Corporate Publishing and awarded the “Best of Consulting” award by “Wirtschaftswoche”. “This is a great recognition – it not only exhibits our expertise, but also shows that our customers value our work”, according to Staufen CEO Haas.
