3-stage training and certification for lean experts and lean trainers

BASIC TRAINING

The focus is on teaching the central principles of Lean In addition, participants actively work on improving their communication and moderation competences and the ability to plan and conduct workshops successfully.

Participants learn and deepen their knowledge of the most important Lean methods and tools applicable to themselves and their specific area of work. Because of the strong practical focus, not only the acquisition of theoretical knowledge is ensured, but also the ability of its application. (Lean basics needed!)

The written exams take place immediately following the respective courses of steps 2 and 3.

INDEPENDENT OF INDUSTRY AND TYPE OF PRODUCTION

PRACTICAL IMPLEMENTATION WITHIN OWN COMPANY

At the latest after completion of Step 2, Lean Experts should implement what they learned and practised within inhouse workshops and projects. This practical application is fundamental for the transformation of your company, but not an official part of the training Program. If required, experienced Staufen experts are happy to support you during the design and conduct of workshops, particularly in the role of coach and “co-trainer” for your experts.

ADVANCED TRAINING TO BECOME A LEAN TRAINER

Focus is on increasing participants’ teaching and organisational competencies. “How do I teach others to do something” rather than “How do I use it myself” is the motto of this final training phase aimed at future Lean trainers (train-the-trainer concept).

The written exams take place immediately following the respective courses of steps 2 and 3.

Through the seminar “Basic training as a lean expert”, participants learn many different methods, which can be applied directly in varied group work. I really enjoyed the online seminar “Lean Administration”. Thanks to various models and analysis tools, it provided us with the equipment to practically approach lean projects in our work environment – from preparation to implementation to completion.
I can fully recommend the digital training as it was very professional. Group work was very feasible even remotely (and was actively used) and even if you didn’t “physically” meet, you grew together as a group over the course of the week. The seminar was very entertaining – quite intensive and exhausting at times, but the week flew by. It was also easy to follow from the home office.
The fact that the trainers offered that we could contact them after the training if we had any questions, was also well received.

In February 2021, I participated in the online version of STAUFEN.’s Lean Manufacturing seminar. Remote learning works: the topics were taught in such a way that they were directly applicable. I learned a lot about improvement management of production processes and now feel able to analyze a process in my own company and identify potentials.

The trainers of the seminar “Basic training as a lean expert” were structured, friendly, easy going and very knowledgeable about lean management and psychological and social aspects.
