In Weilburg located in central Hesse, a city with a population of approximately 13,000, high-quality electronics are developed and produced that are used around the world. FEIG ELECTRONIC has specialized in products for intelligent gate and barrier control.

Punker GmbH has been producing fan wheels of all sizes in steel and aluminum in northern Schleswig-Holstein on the Baltic Sea since 1954. The company generates a turnover of €43 million. Its approximately 1,000 customers come from a variety of different sectors – from air conditioning and household appliance to railway technology industries. The number of variants is correspondingly high and the batch sizes vary just as much.

Construction company of the year, growth champion, state prize for quality, champion of the future, etc. – there has definitely not been any other construction company in Germany that has come even close to winning as many awards over the last few years. Yet Matthias Krieger, owner of the Krieger + Schramm Group, is not resting on the laurels of the past. The former top athlete, now an author and speaker, is set on pushing things forward and designing the future. His goal is to motivate people and companies to take value-oriented and sustainable action.

The Italian management contracted Staufen AG as an experienced consultant in the manufacturing industry. Staufen was asked to take a close look at the company as a whole, identify the reasons why it was in such economic crisis and draw up a business plan to successfully re-align the company.

The company was founded in 1993 in Lukácsháza, Hungary. Pharmaceutical packaging materials are manufactured here at a 280,000 square foot facility, using up-to-date machinery. There is great demand for Schott’s state-of-the-art products.

DILO Armaturen und Anlagen GmbH, with headquarters located in the Lower Allgäu, employs approximately 300 people. After initially established in 1951, it entered the sulphur hexafluoride (SF⁶) business in 1967. Today, this medium-sized company is a world market leader in SF⁶-gas handling, also offering series-manufactured products as well as solutions custom-manufactured to specific needs.
