About the author
Born in Mexico, Pablo Jiménez holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and a Diploma in Quality and Productivity from the Universidad La Salle de Cuernavaca. He has more than 30 years of experience within the company. He joined Bridgestone in 1992 as an Industrial Engineer in the Tire Assembly department at the Cuernavaca Plant in Mexico, and since then, he has assumed different positions of increasing responsibility. In 2002, he was appointed Industrial Engineering Manager and four years later he consolidated his position as Production Manager. In 2009, he was promoted to Manufacturing Director for Bridgestone Mexico, a position he held for almost 10 years. From 2019 to date, he has taken on the challenge of moving to Costa Rica to lead the operations of the plant located in Heredia, as the new Manufacturing Director for Bridgestone Costa Rica. Under his leadership, Pablo has driven the development of the plant's production capabilities to cover domestic and export markets with high quality, technology and performance tires.
